About K4K

The verses children carry
should be worth carrying.

Two founders. One shared belief: what children memorise early, they carry for life. So it should probably be good.

Born from bedtime stories

K4K began the way most meaningful things do — at home, between a parent and a child, with a question no one expected.

It started with a bedtime doha. Our daughter asked, "But what does it mean?" — and we realised the language needed to meet her where she was. Old Hindi, simplified. Dohas, made singable.

We looked around. Children's stories in India are either imported and culturally disconnected, or loud and algorithm-chasing. Nothing rooted. Nothing calm. Nothing that gives children their own heritage in their own language.

So we made what we wished existed — animated stories, singable dohas, and dance-along videos rooted in 600 years of Kabir. Gentle by design. Free for everyone on YouTube.
